Evan Fisher
Founder and Managing Partner
Prior to founding Portal, Evan was an investor at Insight Partners ($90B+ AUM VC) backing businesses in crypto, FinTech, internet, and software across North America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. Evan started his career at Goldman Sachs. He has experience investing from seed to pre-IPO. He specializes in merging first-principles crypto thinking with institutional frameworks to help projects create powerful business models.
Ori Shimony
Venture Partner
Ori has been building in crypto since 2014. In 2019 he co-founded dOrg, a now 70+ person developer collective and the first legally recognized DAO in the US. He has worked with a range of projects including Starkware, Balancer, Gnosis, Aragon, and others. He is also a contributor to US crypto legal frameworks and has worked on special projects for the Ethereum Foundation.
